Amber Bardan returns with a heart-stopping third installment in her high-octane, highly addictive Bad For You series

A fling with her best friend’s reclusive business partner should’ve been harmless.

When Emma meets him, the only way she’s looking to be tied down is in the literal sense. But Avner—shady hacker, off-the-books investigator, occasional spy—takes her breath away. He’s the first man who doesn’t turn to mush under her sexual spell: a fact that makes what’s between them very different, and very real.

Beautiful and uninhibited, Emma is everything Avner thought she would be and more. Yet his deadly past and dark duties can never be forgotten…not even as he succumbs to their seductive intimacy. But for the first time he’s after something of his own, as well.

And now that he’s found Emma, he’ll protect her, no matter what. Because anything worth loving is worth fighting for.

But nothing about Avner is remotely harmless.

Soon, Avner has infiltrated Emma’s personal life, stalled her career and nearly destroyed everything she’s worked for—all in the name of protection. Desperate and heartbroken, drawn into a secret criminal underworld in her quest for understanding, Emma discovers the truth: Avner’s secrets are far more devastating than his lies.

Falling for Prince Charles – Book Tour

Title: Falling for Prince Charles by Lauren Baratz-Logsted
Release date: February 9, 2016
Publisher: Diversion Books

Falling for Prince Charles book cover

“Lauren Baratz-Logsted has mastered the real life fairy tale in her explosive and hilarious Falling for Prince Charles. It’s all here, lovelorn Daisy Silverman flush with cash and high hopes, Prince Charles who can’t resist her, and London in all its splendor. Curl up and get ready to laugh long into the foggy night.” —Adriana Trigiani, New York Times bestselling author of The Shoemaker’s Wife

Daisy Silverman has always been obsessed with His Royal Highness, Prince Charles. When the underachieving 30-something cleaning lady wins a million dollars, she follows her lifelong dream to go to London. Once there, she meets Prince Charles—the real Prince Charles. Through a series of misunderstandings, the Royal Family doesn’t realize that Daisy’s Jewish or that she’s spent her life up to the elbows in the wrong kind of toilet water. By the time they do, Daisy is in love with Charles, Charles is in love with Daisy, and the Queen’s white gloves are off. Falling for Prince Charles is an offbeat alternate-universe romantic comedy showing the heir to the British throne in a light quite unlike any he’s been seen in before.

“Daisy’s madcap adventure is more comedy than romance, and her most unusual and unlikely relationship with Prince Charles will appeal to reads looking for lots of giggles.” —Publishers Weekly

Character Interview – Drew Collins

Author Samatha Harris interviews Drew Collins from her novel Somewhere In Between.

I am a huge fan of Inside the Actors Studio. My favorite part of James Lipton’s interviews is when he has his guest answer the Pivot Questionnaire. I thought it would be fun to have my MC Drew Collins from my novel Somewhere In Between answer the questionnaire as well. Let’s see what he has to say.

SH: What is your favorite word?

DC: Manwhore. It sounds fun.

SH: What is your least favorite word?

DC: Pickle. People use it in weird ways, like describing an uncomfortable situation or as an alternative to penis. A pickle is a pickle people. You eat it. Let’s leave it at that. Plus the smell is rank.

SH: What turn you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally?

DC: Determination.

SH: What turns you off?

DC: Timidity. Don’t hide. Be who you are and own it.

SH: What is your favorite curse word?

DC: Son of a bitch. It just works in so many situations

SH: What sound or noise do you love?

DC: My nephew’s laugh. He is the coolest kid ever.

SH: What sound or noise do you hate?

DC: The slow beep of a heart monitor.

SH: What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

DC: Marriage counselor. Maybe, I can help other people from making the mistake I did.

SH: What profession would you not like to do?

DC: High school Teacher. Teenagers are assholes. God knows I was.

SH: If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

DC: Liquor in the front poker in the back.

Grab your copy of Somewhere In Between for more from my smartass leading man.

Author Sarah Hegger I’ve moved around a lot, even as a child, but I mainly grew up in South Africa, so here are ten of my favorite things from there, in random order.

  • Visiting the Kruger National Park and seeing all the animals in their natural habitat
  • The drive along Chapman’s Peak, Cape Town

Chaos book coverChaos Mayhem #3 by Jamie Shaw
Release date: July 21, 2015
Published by: Avon Impulse

From the moment she saw Shawn Scarlett perform at a school talent show, Kit Larson has loved two things: the guitar, and the gorgeous, green-eyed boy who inspired her to play. But one careless night in high school shatters her hope of ever being more than a notch on his bedpost.

Six years, two bands, and one mostly-mended heart later, Kit’s about to make her rock star dreams a reality as the new guitarist for Shawn’s band, The Last Ones to Know. He may not remember their reckless night together, but Kit has never forgotten… and she’s determined to make him eat his heart out.

The release of their new album means a month cooped up on a tour bus, sleeping inches away from the ridiculously sexy musician she’s never quite gotten over. And as Kit gets to know the real Shawn—not Shawn Scarlett, the rock god, the player—their attraction becomes too hot to resist. But the past is paved with secrets, and when they finally surface, Kit could lose everything: the band, the music, her dreams… and Shawn.

Now a USA Today Best Selling Author!

I’m in my thirties and living in New Zealand. About 2 years ago I lost somebody very close to me. I was lucky in a way, I was given enough time to make a promise. My promise was that I would never forget our young and innocent love, and it’s a promise I intend to keep.

My writing is a way to help me keep that promise. I’ve always enjoyed writing but was forced into being ‘prudent’ and giving myself over to soul-crushing office work for the sake of a steady salary. Recent events forced me to re-evaluate my priorities and I decided to take a chance. I like to put little pieces of ‘us’ into my writing, from funny conversations we had, to apocalyptic arguments, to that special feeling you get when you hop into bed fully aware that your feet are freezing but your partner doesn’t kick you away.

Even though these things are set in fictional worlds and attached to fictional characters, in a way it feels like I’m doing something that will make our love live forever. If somebody reads one of my stories and likes a joke or sheds a tear, then our love has lived on, and I thank any readers I might have for that.
