App Talk – TripIt and Sharefile

This app tip courtesy Applause via Manta.

Trip ItTripIt  by Concur is available for your Apple devices, Android devices, Windows phone and Blackberry.

This free app lets you forward, or automatically push, reservation confirmation emails to a unique TripIt email address. Flight numbers, hotel confirmation numbers, addresses, phone numbers – even restaurant reservations and maps – are right in your hand! An instant itinerary you can share over social networks and email to keep people in the loop.

You can upgrade to the pro plan for $49.00/month. Get real-time flight alerts, seat tracker, flight finder, refund notifications, and point tracker while circumnavigating the globe.

Click to download your TripIt app.

SharefileShareFile by Citrix is available for your Apple devices, Android devices, Windows phone and Blackberry.

Citrix ShareFile mobile apps allow you to stay up to date with your files wherever you go. You can download and view a recently uploaded file from your phone, react quickly to the fast-paced working world, and stay one-step ahead of the competition. Sharing documents has never been so easy and accessible.

I haven’t tried this app but it seems like DropBox on steroids. It is highly customizable, you can add your company logo or signature. There is a desktop widget, plugin for Outlook, a sync feature and other mobile tools features. You can also receive tracking and email alerts.

This app has a FREE trial period, after that the plans range from $29.95 per month to $99.95+ per month. Click to find a plan that fits your needs.

That’s all for App Talk this week. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these apps and your experience with them.

Cheers!
